Each council recommends academic procedures governing undergraduate academic and professional programs; studies and recommends curriculum matters and encourages high academic standards for all undergraduate and graduate work within the college; and makes recommendations to enhance the ability of the college and the university to meet student needs and to enhance the quality of their educational experience. Membership of each council includes the department heads and others appointed by the dean of each college who also serves as the chair.
