Tracy Farr (BMED '84) is the band director at Mount Vernon (TX) Junior Hight School. He previously served for eight years at Harts Bluff ISB.

Lisa Means(BS '84) had photographs featured in a spread on amazing survival stories for October 2002 issue of D Magazine in Dallas. In addition to her work for this magazine,she has shot for advertising and editorial clients such as People, Parade, Woman’s Day and Private Clubs, among others.
Shirley Chapman (BS ’85) teaches seventh-grade English for Morris Upchurch Middle School in Queen City, TX.
Jody McIntier (BS ’85) was awarded the A&M-Commerce University Office Personnel Association Fall Scholarship. She is assistant to the executive director of development at A&M-Commerce.
Danny Hurley (BS ’86) has photographs featured as part of the cover story on the best doctors in Dallas in the October 2002 issue of D Magazine. In addition to his work for D, Texas Lawyer, ClubCorp. and Southwest Airlines, he teaches digital photography at several local community colleges.
Scott Wortham (BS ’86, MED ’94) is the principal for Anna High School, Anna, TX.
Djuana Young (BBA ’86) is the director of Admissions and School Relations for the Division of Enrollment Management at Texas Tech University.
Steve Ford (BS ’87, MS ’89) is high school principal for Hawkins (TX) ISD.
Monty Hilburn (BBA ’88, MBA ’01) and Naushaba Hilburn (MBA ’02) are expecting a baby in January. He is currently plant manager for Ogura Corporation, an automotive parts manufacturer, and she is an accountant for Fleet Capital Leasing. They have lived in the Detroit, MI area for the past several years.

Allen Roulette (BS ’90) is chief operating officer of AMR Resources, a computer consulting firm. He and his wife, Deona, have three children, Ashlee Morgan-11, Allen Michael Jr.-2 and Aaron Matthew-1. They reside in The Colony, TX, where he also officiates high school football, hoping to someday officiate in the NFL

Angeline Hawkes-Craig

Angeline Hawkes-Craig (BA ’91) is the author of a new novel, The Swan Road. A published writer/poet since 1981, she has 16 short stories (historical and horror genres) published or scheduled for publication in print and in on-line publications nationwide. She is a former high school and middle school teacher in the Greenville ISD and Boles ISD and has been a resident of Rockwall County since 1983.

Leah Lewis Bull (BSIS ’92, MS ’96) has been teaching seventh- and eighth-grade science at Rivercrest Junior High for six years. Her daughter, Brittany L. Bull, is presently attending A&M-Commerce where she is a kinesiology major and serves as a Lion cheerleader.
Ricardo Corrales (BA ’93, MED ’01) is the principal for Travis Elementary School in Greenville, TX. He was previously assistant principal at Greenville Middle School.
Amy Rebecca Tucker (BS ’93) received her MS degree in Visualization Sciences from Texas A&M-University in May. One of her animations produced while there, “A Good Walk Spoiled,” was shown at the Kalamazoo Animation Festival International 2002. Her Master’s thesis software project, Chromidio, was shown in 2001 at F_Scapes II, Digitales, in Brussels. “9000 Miles,” a video art project to accompany her thesis, was also included on the DVD “Reline.” Currently, she is working for Multigen-Paradigm in Plano as a software developer, creating graphics for flight and aircraft sensor simulations, and she plans to continue to produce digital art, animation and videography in her spare time.
Jamie Holcomb Anderson (BSIS ’94, MED ’02) is an educational diagnostician for Garland ISD. She previously taught elementary school for seven years.
Jason Evans (BS ’94) is assistant football coach, eighth-grade boys basketball coach, track coach, as well as head golf coach for Whitewright ISD.
Abel Sanchez (BS ’94) is a regular contributor to D Magazine and has work that appears in the “Dallas Look” and “Dallas Shops” sections of the October 2002 issue.
Jesse Skinner (BS ’95) recently joined the staff of Wood County National Bank in Quitman, TX.
Shannon Michele Lynch (BBA ’98) married Lonnie Wade Carter (BS ’99) Aug. 30. She is employed by TXU in Dallas, and he is employed by Farmer’s Insurance in Arlington. They reside in Richardson.
Wendy Lee Wright (BS ’98) and Rodney Glen White (BS ’93) were married July 20, in Sulphur Springs. She is employed by Commerce ISD, the last four years as a coach and teacher at Commerce High School and is presently a special education teacher at A.C. Williams Elementary. He is employed by Sulphur Springs ISD as a systems administrator.
Thomas William Nolan Gray (BBA ’99) married Amy Elizabeth Castle Sept. 28 in Dallas. He is employed with Schlumberger Technology Corp. They reside in Graham, TX.
Cassandra Lynn Herron (BS ’99) married Richard Douglass Roberts Aug. 3. She is currently working on her bachelors of nursing at UT-Tyler.
Amber Rebekah Nelson (BS ’99) married Brian Lewis Harvey Aug. 27 in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. She is employed in directional marketing by TMP Worldwide in Dallas, and the couple resides in Hurst.
Bryan Vaughn (BSCJ ’99) was recently promoted to investigator with the University Police Department of A&M-Commerce. He has worked in patrol with this department since 1998 and was promoted to patrol sergeant in 2000. He is in charge of investigating any criminal activity occursing on campus.
Felicia Renee Bradley (BSCJ ’00) married Derrick Q. Chism (BS ’99) Aug. 11 in Dallas. She is employed by Barratt Burke Attorneys, and he is employed at Health South Rehab Hospital-Physical Therapy, both in Addison.
Robert W. Kirkpatrick Jr. (BS ’00) was recently commissioned a Second Lieutenant/Quarter-Master. After attending Quarter-Master Officer Basic School at Ft. Lee, VA, he is scheduled to be commander of a new Texas NG unit being formed in the Corpus Christi area.
Brian Knox (BS ’00) is a reporter for the Wise County Messenger in Decatur, TX, and recently won second place in the American Cancer Society’s Texas Media Awards for his feature story, “Heather Griffeth Battles Brain Tumor.” There were 37 winners among 151 entries. He is married to Amanda Seigler Knox (BS ’99).
Vincent Earl McGee (MS ’00) married Darcie Jean Novotny May 24 in Iowa. The couple resides in Athens, Greece, where both are employed by the American Community Schools of Greece.
Monica Jean Thornhill (MS ’00) married William Paul Jackson Jr. Aug. 10 in Sherman. She is an elementary school counselor for Ruth Borchardt Elementary School in Frisco. They reside in Dallas.
Michel Lea Blount (BSIS ’01) married Brian Edwin Clayton (BS ’96) July 27 in Sulphur Springs. He is employed by 76th and 276th Judicial District’s Juvenile Probation Department.
Stephanie Renee Dunagan (BS ’01) married Michael Justin O’Neal Oct. 5 in Blossom, TX. She is employed by Korney Board Aids, Inc. They reside in Blossom.
Brad Hamilton (BS ’01) is third-grade teacher for Ferris ISD in Texas.
Randall Curtis Lane (BS ’01) married Amy Elizabeth Russell Aug. 9 in Linden, TX. He attends Texas Tech Physician Assistant program in Midland.
Kimberly Ann Ridling (BS ’01) married Matthew Lee Pearson (BS ’00) April 6 in Sulphur Springs, TX. She is employed as the news producer for the morning show of an ABC affiliate, and he is the assistant high school band director for Groesbeck ISD. They reside in Waco.
April Saha (BS ’01) is the program manager at the Rusk County Children’s Advocacy Center in Henderson, TX.
Chris Brown (BS ’02) recently assumed duties as general manager of Best Western Trail Dust Inn in Sulphur Springs. He joined the Best Western property in late July after assisting the company with the construction and opening of a new hotel in Mount Pleasant.
Alynda Davis (BSIS ’02) teaches fifth-grade math and science at Hallie Randall Elementary School in Fruitvale, TX. She previously taught fifth-grade content mastery and TAAS groups for Sulphur Springs ISD.
Brian Harlan (MS ’02) teaches in the Career and Technology Department of Ennis (TX) ISD.
Jason Maroney (BS ’02) is employed by Edgewood (TX) ISD as a teacher in the high school science department and boys’ coach for the junior high.

Dr. Tina Nunnellee (PHD ’02) owns East Texas Counseling Center in Onalaska, TX. The center provides counseling to adults, children, adolescents, couples and families on anger management, social skills, behavior management, couples issues, parenting skills and other areas.

Demetrius Rector (BS ’02) is assistant football coach at Leonard High School, Leonard, TX. He is also keeping his options open as far as professional football goes.
Carrie Whittington (BSIS ’02) is teaching first grade for Tioga ISD in Texas.

Gordon Bevis has been construction superintendent for AstroTurf for the past 24 years. He and his wife, Susie, reside in Longview.
Charles Cox has been superintendent of Boyd (TX) ISD since 1999.
Clinton Ecord was promoted to deputy sheriff for Delta County, TX, in September. He previously served as jailer for the county.
Warren Lynn McDonald married Courtney Leigh Criswell July 20, 2002 in Greenville, TX. He is a project engineer for Ozark Aircraft Systems in Bentonville, AR.
Julie Middlebrooks teaches fifth- through eighth-grade art for Morris Upchurch Middle School in Queen City, TX.
Rochelle Carmichael Paulet was recently selected to represent the city of Centennial, CO as Mrs. Centennial 2003. She will compete in May in interview, photogenic, swimsuit and evening gown categories for the title of Mrs. Colorado. From there, she could go to Mrs. America, the only televised beauty pageant for married women.
Odeana Stewart was recently appointed president of the Commerce Branch of Inwood Bank.
Gayle Stinson was named in 2002 as the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals’ Outstanding Principal of the Year Award. She is principal at Texas High in Texarkana, TX. She will now advance to compete for the MetLife/NASSP national principal of the year award.

Martha Rowena Jackson Ewing (BS ’36), 10-21-02. She was a retired teacher from Woodridge Elementary in San Antonio.
Gladys Pound Ivie (BS ’36, MED ’55), 9-2-02. She retired from Rains County ISD after teaching for 38 years.
Attelia L. Muller (BS ’36), 8-22-02. She taught at Galveston High School and for 30 years at Texas A&I University in Kingsville (now Texas A&M-Kingsville), retiring in 1982.
Angela Ragland (BS ’37), 10-23-02. She taught in Texas schools for 60 years, retiring at age 76.
Evelyn Bailey Black (BS ’38), 10-19-01.
Florence Tillery Fox (BA ’38, MA ’41), 9-19-02. She was a teacher in Texas public schools for 41 years.
Oleta Inabinette (BS ’42, MED ’56), 11-13-02. A teacher for 46 years, she retired from Bowie Elementary School in Greenville, TX.
Clarence Lewis (BS ’47), 10-26-02. He was on the All-American football team and coached in Canadian, Tulia and Guymon. He farmed in Ochiltree County, TX.
J. D. Stovall (BS ’47, MED ’53), 8-26-02. He retired from Greenville ISD as principal at Crockett Elementary with 25 years’ service.
John O. Head (BS ’49), 8-17-02. He retired from General Electric/Trane after 35 years of service.
Walter Glyndol Cregg (BS ’50, MS ’50), 9-7-02. He worked for many years as a draftsman at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Dallas.
Exa Edwards (MED ’50), 9-25-02. She taught in McKinney and Garland, retiring in 1970 and then serving as a substitute teacher.
Carolyn Frazer Vann (BS ’51, MS ’70), 8-14-02. She taught language arts at Deer Park (TX) Jr. High for 32 years, retiring in ‘91.
Charles E. Hughes (BBA ’52), 9-25-02. He practiced law for 36 years and was a real estate attorney, published author, teacher and lecturer.
Charles Ray Pickens (BS ’52), 10-30-02. He worked at Pickens’ Motor Company and Grady Chevrolet in Greenville for many years until his retirement. He and his wife built the LeChateau Apartments in Greenville in 1968.
Mary Jo Scott (BS ’52), 8-13-02. She was an active member of the Friends of the Library and volunteered many hours for the Wichita Falls Museum and Arts Center and the Wichita Falls Humane Society.
Nolan Lee Suiter (BS ’52, MED ’60), 6-27-02. He retired as a counselor and superintendent from Winnsboro ISD.
John W. Roberts Jr. (BS ’52, MED ’54), 7-29-02. He was a schoolteacher and principal at Garland ISD for 34 years.
