Farm Insurance Agent

How can we continue to strengthen our link between Texas A&M University-Commerce and the community? The answer is to provide every qualified graduating senior from Commerce High School a scholarship to attend our great University.

That is the goal of the Commerce Campaign. Wyman Williams, owner of Williams Motors, and Dixie Turman Stachowiak, owner of State Farm Insurance, are leading this endeavor as co-chairpersons of this year’s campaign. They are currently forming 50 teams to contact each and every business in the Commerce area and encourage them to make a donation toward the educational future of our children. The campaign will kick off with a breakfast at the new Commerce High School on October 30. Business gift solicitation will begin on November 1 and will extend through November 30.

The proceeds from this campaign will establish an endowment benefiting Commerce High School seniors. It is the dream of the campaign chairs that Texas A&M University-Commerce will be the university that our local students will choose in pursuit of their higher education.
