Expect Rough Roads To Homecoming 2000
Those visiting A&M-Commerce during Homecoming 2000 might run into some unexpected inconveniences involving road construction around campus. The City of Commerce is in the process of improving Park Street, Maple Street, Washington Street, Moore Street, and Monroe Street. The improvements include replacing sewer lines, water lines, installing underground phone lines, removing asphalt and paving the roads. Monroe Street, which runs along the east side of campus, may be the street to cause the most inconvenience to visitors. At times, the street will be blocked off or be limited to one lane in places.
