SLAM POET—Alumna Camika Spencer SLAM POET—Alumna Camika Spencer performed with O.I.L. (Ordained In Lyrics), an African-American performance poetry group which has appeared in Dallas area clubs and on area radio and television. O.I.L. entertained at the VISIONS program sponsored by Intercultural Services.

 

THE WELCOMING COMMITTEE — Various administrators, faculty, and staff rolled up their sleeves on Aug. 23 to help new and returning residents move into their residence halls.
