POET—Alumna Camika Spencer performed with O.I.L. (Ordained In
Lyrics), an African-American performance poetry group which
has appeared in Dallas area clubs and on area radio and television.
O.I.L. entertained at the VISIONS program sponsored by Intercultural
Services.
THE WELCOMING
COMMITTEE — Various administrators, faculty, and staff rolled
up their sleeves on Aug. 23 to help new and returning residents
move into their residence halls. The welcoming committee included
Pat Taylor, development director (pictured left) and Dr. Jerry
Lytle, retired A&M-Commerce staff member and alumnus (right).
