Senior Kelly Bayless recorded the first hole-in-one in Lion women’s golf history on April 11 during the Northwood University Spring Invitational.

Bayless used a 5-iron to ace the par 3, 142 yard 15th hole at the Creekview Golf Course in Crandall.

She finished 31st in the tournament with a 237.

The top tournament finish by the Lion women was turned in by Ashley Stephenson who placed 15th at the LSC Championships with a 188 at Texas Star in Euless. The best score for a tournament, also by Stephenson, was a 180 which tied for 35th at the Texas Intercollegiate at Hidden Oaks in Grandbury.
