OFF-CAMPUS EMPLOYERS

Texas A&M University-Commerce Students are encouraged to seek off-campus employment to broaden their work experience.  Many companies have available job openings for students.  There are various kinds of jobs posted on the bulletin board.  These jobs are available in the surrounding areas of Commerce, Greenville, Sulphur Springs, Mesquite and Dallas Texas.

• Businesses in the surrounding area of Texas A&M University-Commerce are encouraged to mail or fax their job listings to the Student Employment Office.
• Texas A&M University-Commerce will post off-campus job listings on the bulletin board located outside the Human Resources Department in Room #130 and on the web http://www.tamu-commerce.edu/job-line/.
• Texas A&M University-Commerce will post the off-campus jobs for a month unless otherwise notified by the off-campus employer.
• Any employment made with an off-campus employer and a student of Texas A&M University-Commerce will solely be between the employer and the student.
• Texas A&M Commerce does not assume responsibilities for wages, work schedules, training, job policies and procedures, affirmative action procedure and etc… of off-campus jobs.
