Summer Words and Pictures (SWaP)
We are pleased to offer an out-of-school experience where you can have hands-on practice with your creative side. You'll have the chance to explore comics, art, photo-manipulation, collage, cutting edge aspects of fan-fiction (transformative literature), funny poetry, poetic form, short story creation and submission, and other aspects of the creative arts. You will live in the university environment, with creative peers and mentors, and have the opportunity to explore new ways to express your creativity. Enjoy the full-camp experience with evening recreational activities on the TAMU-Commerce campus.

Registration Information
Dates: July 6-10, 2008
Ages: High School Students (Fall 2008 Grades 9 - 12)
The cost for SWaP is $250.00 per camper. In order to insure a place in Summer Words and Pictures camp, applications should be received no later than June 27, 2008.
