BSW FIELD REQUIREMENTS

The Field Practicum requires a total of 460 clock hours in an internship during the student's senior year. Students begin their Field I in the summer (160 hours) & complete their Field II INTERNSHIP during the Fall semester (300 hours). The University has agreements with over 100 human service agencies throughout Northeast Texas in areas such as mental health, child welfare, family services, health care services, rehabilitation, substance abuse treatment, and many more.
