		What is IMS?

	Our mission is simple: Have fun, play hard, and learn something. Sports are not just about winning and losing, but rather how you play the game.

	Intramural Sports provides structured sports and sports-related events to the community of Texas A&M University - Commerce. We offer more than 30 individual and dual events as well as team tournaments and team sport leagues. We offer traditional events like racquetball, checkers, sand volleyball and flag football as well as non-tradional events like Battleship Canoe Swamping, Guitar Hero, and Rock Paper Scissors We also offer a club sports program featuring baseball, tennis and soccer. If you are interested in joining these clubs or forming a club sport yourself contact Mike Chadee!

	The Intramural Sports Program at Texas A&M University - Commerce prides itself on improvement. We are continually striving to provide the best and most exciting events to the Texas A&M University - Commerce community in the best ways possible. We are always trying new ways of accomplishing our goals and searching for new ways to intertwine our goals to those of the educational mission of the University.

	We offer employment opportunities to any undergraduate or graduate students in need of a job. Our sports are officiated by student officials and all events are supervised by student supervisors. Some of our events are even run entirely by a student, from the planning to the actual event itself. Student development is priority number one for all student employees in the Intramural Sports Program.
