About Us


Purchasing and Contract Administration is a department within the Vice President of Business Administration division.  The department offers a wide-range of services to the University community in addition to the traditional role of procuring goods and services.  The department is responsible for complying with State of Texas and TAMU System procurement codes, administration of contracts, and implementing the Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) program.  Please follow the links on the left for department contacts, professional associations, TAMU System members, and the department's code of ethics.

Mission Statement


It is the mission of Purchasing and Contact Administration Department of the Business and Administration Division is to provide the best possible environment for the Student and the Teacher to come together and have a positive learning experience. Our goal is to make the highest and best use of our limited resources in pursuit of excellence through acquisition of goods and services at the best possible value.
