Dr. Harvetta Robertson
 

Harry Fullwood, Professor. Harry holds a doctorate from the University of Oklahoma. He teaches at both the graduate and undergraduate level and maintains broad research interests in the area of diminished cognition, applicable technologies, and minority special education.

Dana Harader, Assistant Professor, completed her doctorate at the University of North Texas. She works in the area of special education teacher training, and alternative education programs.

Lois Hogan, serving as Ad Interim for 2009-2010. Her work includes field-based education.

Beth Jones, Assistant Professor. Her degree is from Louisiana State University.

Max Plata, Professor Emeritus of Special Education. Max, a Kansas PhD, continues to serve the University in myriad ways. This includes through his ongoing research program involving the social behavior of special needs children, and his direction of multiple grants in the area of diversity.

Tim Roberts, Associate Professor. Tim completed his doctoral work at the University of Northern Colorado. Tim teaches many graduate and undergraduate courses, and is the co-author of the Social-Emotional Dimension Scale: A Measure of School Behavior. Current research interest includes assessment with special populations.

Harvetta Robertson, Associate Professor and SPED Program Coordinator. A graduate of the University of Texas, Harvetta coordinates the undergraduate programs in the department as well as teaching graduate and undergraduate courses. Her research interests have focused on student success.
