Psychology The Department of Psychology and Special Education offers the M.S. and M.A. degrees with a major in psychology. Specified programs of study are available for students who seek licensure as a psychological associate (applied/clinical), credentials in school psychology (school), or graduate study in educational or experimental psychology. The applied program is accredited by the Masters in Psychology Accreditation Council, and the school psychology program conforms to established standards at the state and national level. Special Education The Department of Psychology and Special Education offers majors and minors in special education resulting in the M.A., M.S., and M.Ed.. A variety of specific coursework options exist, including those that do and do not lead toward certification; for example, the program for educational diagnosticians. Admissions and Funding Admission begins with an application to the Graduate School. Requirements of each program can be provided through discussions with the faculty contacts listed above. Funding is available, but highly competitive. |
