Embark.com is a free service that provides extensive information on over 6,000 schools, as well as a comprehensive financial aid information and a database of 600,000 scholarship awards. Use the online tools to get participants recruited by leading colleges and to submit electronic applications. Visited by more than 1.5 million people each month, Embark.com is the #1 college resource on the web. The Education and Career Opportunities System (ECOS), a subscription based web solution giving participants the ability to create a pathway for their future. ECOS provides 24 hour access to explore, make decisions and take action on career and educational goals. Counselors can capitalize on the limited time they have to spend with participants by using ECOS for advance preparation to make strategic decisions during each of their counseling sessions.
