Users will need to purchase their own laptop and wireless card. We have *three* laptops with an integrated wireless card available for in-library checkout at the circulation desk. Users will also need free VPN software from CTIS-now Technology Services if they want to use the "wireless" network. A VPN (Virtual Private Network) is a secure connection between two locations on a network or series of networks through which traffic is encrypted.

The age of your laptop and quality of the wireless card used may impact your ability to connect to the wireless network.

Many wireless card works in some buildings on campus but not in the Library. For some reason people who connect elsewhere on campus must go through this process if they want to access the wireless network here in the library.
