General Web Sites
- Thinking World by John Chaffee, Ph.D. has a purpose to "create a community of people dedicated
to creating a world which is more thoughtful, empathetic, and enlightened." The website offers information, links and a forum for communication.
- David Chalmers' (University
of Arizona) personal web site includes some full-text, online papers and links
to resources.
- Philosophy Pages by Garth Kemerling. It includes an online dictionary,
history and timeline, logic, philosophers, and a site search.
- TheFallacy Files
- ThePhilosophical Gourmet Report offers information on the rankings of graduate programs
in philosophy in the English-speaking world. This site is sponsored by Blackwell Publishers and authored by Brian Leiter.
- Philosophy in Cyberspace is a site by Dey Alexander that offers a large variety of resources
in various disciplines of philosophy, text-related resources, organizations, forums, etc. The "Branches of Philosophy" links give a wide choice of topics.
Some of the links on this site are dead or are redirected to new sites.
- Religious Movements Homepage at the University of Virginia is "dedicated to the study of religious movements on the web and in the world." It offers links to information such as profiles of religious movements, profiles of world religions. cults, and religious broadcasting. It also has search capabilities within the web site and a glossary of terms.

Electronic Special Collections
- The Paideia Project Online offers free access to the collection of papers presented at the
Twentieth World Congress of Philosophy. The archive includes abstracts and full-text articles. The general editor is Stephen Dawson.
- The PhilSci Project Online is "an elecctronic archive for reprints of the philosophy of science."
It is sponsored by the Philosophy of Science Association, University of Pittsburgh, and University Library System, University of Pittsburgh. Articles
can be browsed by subject, or searched by author, title, publication and year.

Epistemology & Metaphysics
- EpistemeLinks offers a search within the site. Searches can be done by topic and includes links to events,
journals, publishers and organizations. "Gems of the Web" highlights other useful websites. This site is maintained by Thomas Ryan Stone.
- Metaphysics Research Lab of Stanford University.
- Metaphysics by Default is a scholarly website offering essays (lectures) on a variety of topics.
Ethics
- The Penn Center for Bioethics is maintained by the University of Pennsylvania, School of Medicine.
- Ethics Updates is "designed primarily to be used by ethics instructors and their students. It
is intended to provide updates on current literature..." The website is edited by Lawrence M. Hinnman.
Existentialism
- An Existentialism primer by C.S. Wyatt. Included are resources on individuals, concepts and a list
of other resources on the WWW. The website reflects the author's curiosity about existentialism.
LION Library Databases
- To browse titles in JSTOR go to theTAMU-Commerce Library Databases. Select "Browse" from
the JSTOR homepage and select the topic.
- To browse titles in MUSE go to the TAMU-Commerce Library Databases. Select "Journals" from
the MUSE homepage. Browse the alphbetical listing of titles or use the "Quick Navigation" feature to browse by subject area.
ListServ
- The Philosop List is a world-wide listserv for professional
philosophers.
Logic
- Philosophy Web Pages by Garth Kemerling includes an online dictionary, history, philosophers, logic, and timeline.
A site search is included.
Organizations
Pragmatism
- The Pragmatism Cybrary offers information regarding the history of Pragmatism, genealogies of
pragmatic thought, library of living Pragmatists, web companion to Pragmatism, and bibliographies. The non-profit site is maintained by John Shook
(Oklahoma State University).
