In 1998, President Keith McFarland began to collect books by Texas A & M University - Commerce faculty members. This collection, which reflects the scholarly and literary achievements of the faculty, past and present, is housed in an bookcase in the lobby area on the first floor of the Library. Library patrons may browse and checkout books from this collection. Faculty may donate to this collection.
