Collection

The Texas A&M University-Commerce Metroplex Center Library is located at 2600 Motley Dr. in Mesquite, Texas. The collection consists of educational books, periodicals, ERIC documents and reference materials. Reserve services are available for instructors teaching classes at the Metroplex. Books may be requested from the Commerce campus, and interlibrary loans services are available. Graduate students and faculty may apply for a Texshare card. Please stop by and learn about the services we can provide.


The TAMU-C Metroplex hours are as follows:

Regular Fall/Spring Semester Hours

Monday-Thursday 9:00am - 10:00pm 

Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm 

Saturday 7:00am - 3:00pm 

Closed on Sunday

Summer Semester Hours

Monday-Thursday 7:00am - 10:00pm   

Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm   

Closed Saturday and Sunday

In Between Semester Hours

Monday-Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm

Circulation Policies

TAMU-C Metroplex books are checked out for three weeks. They may be renewed, if no other patron has placed a hold on the material.We do accept telephone renewals (972)882-7537 or renew by e-mail: Book Renewal Request. Books from the Main Campus (Gee Library - Commerce) may be returned at the Metroplex Library.


Interlibrary Loan

TAMU-C Metroplex students may borrow materials from other libraries through Interlibrary Loan (ILL).Please fill out forms located on the circulation desk, and return the completed forms to a library staff member. You may also submit your interlibrary loan requests by e-mail. The forms are listed below. We will make every effort to fill these orders as soon as possible.
