Where to Find a Book or Journal

Use information from its LION record to find a book or journal.

Status
The status line will tell you whether a book is checked out, lost, or has recently been ordered. Journals cannot be checked out.

Location
Check here to find out if Gee Library or the Metroplex Library has the book or journal.

Call Number
Write down the call number. It acts as the "address" of an item in the library. To find out which floor to go to in Gee Library you can:

• Look at one of the blue library directories located by the elevators and in the Reference Area. They show the call number range for each floor, or
• Ask at the Reference Desk
