Subject Searching (on the LION online catalog)
Searching by subject is a powerful tool. Try one of the following subject searches. Some of the searches will bring up
more detailed lists. For example, a search by "France history" will show a list divided by distinct time periods.
- French language
- French language textbooks
- French language self instruction
- French language study and teaching
- French language dictionaries
- France history
- French literature
- France social life and customs
- France description and travel
- Art France
- Music France
Each search may return results that are more detailed. The listings may include more
narrow subject headings that indicate specific genre, time periods and/or geographical areas.
