Fines are assessed at $.25 per day per item to a maximum of $10.00. Reserve book fines are $1.00 per day. Unpaid fines may result in the suspension of borrowing privileges. Failure to pay fines or to resolve charges for damaged or lost items may result in the withholding of grades, transcripts, or the blocking of registration. Damaged or lost book charges are the replacement cost of the book plus a $15.00 processing fee.
Library patrons who are delinquent and/or are determined by the Circulation Coordinator or Library Director to be high-risk patrons, will not be allowed to charge library material or their book check-out privilege may be limited.
E-mail overdue notices are sent after an item is one day late and a second notice is sent after ten days. A bill for replacement cost is sent when an item is sixty days past due.
