The Director of
Human Resources is responsible for assuring that
Texas A&M University-Commerce remains in compliance
with applicable federal and state laws, requirements
of federal and state governing agencies, and System
policies and regulations regarding EEO, Affirmative
Action, and Human Resources. Responsible for
directing the comprehensive Human Resources and EEO
function of the University.

Responsible for: All employee leave reporting (Vacation, Sick Leave, Compensatory Time, FMLA, Sick Leave Pool, Worker’s Compensation).

Insurance Coordinator
Responsible for: Employee and retiree health insurance and incorrectly filed claims, Medicare and secondary insurance, Evidence of Insurability forms, death claims and Long Term Disability, Employee rights regarding the COBRA plan and creates bills and collects premiums for retirees and employees on leave. Responsible for all retirement programs to include Teacher Retirement System (TRS), Optional Retirement Program (ORP) and Tax Deferred Annuities (TDA).

Responsible for: Posting of open positions, oversees application process, administers testing required for open positions, signs new employees up for payroll and enters new employee information. Responsible for HR website as it relates to job postings and updates.
