State Employee Incentive Program (SEIP)

Texas A&M University-Commerce faculty and staff are encouraged to offer suggestion for improving the processes for accomplishing work.  Through the SEIP Program, employees are encouraged to make suggestions which, if implemented, will result in: Increased efficiency/productivity, enhanced safety, improved physical environment, and/or other benefits.  The intent of the program is to improve service quality and speed of delivery while lowering costs.  If suggestions are approved by the SEIP Committee to be evaluated by the Texas Incentive and Productivity Commission, employees may be eligible to receive 10 percent of the savings generated by their suggestion -up to 5,000 maximum from the state.
