Dr. Srinivas Nippani

A tenured, full professor of finance at TAMU-Commerce.  He received his Ph.D. in finance from the University of Arkansas in 1998.  His research has been published/or accepted for publication in The Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, The Quarterly Review of Economics & Finance, The Journal of Economics & Finance, Review of Financial Economics, The North American Journal of Economics & Finance, Applied Financial Economics, The Mid-American Journal of Business and Financial Counseling and Planning among others.

Dr. Nippani is currently serving as the Member of the Board of Editors in finance for the Journal of Economics and Financial Education and on the Editorial Review Board of the Journal of Business Administration Online.  His work has also been presented at various major national and international conferences.

He received an outstanding teaching award at the University of Arkansas – Monticello prior to joining A&M-Commerce.  In 2004 he and Dr. Washer won a best paper award at the ASBBS annual meeting.  Dr. Nippani is an active member on the faculty senate and serves on several other university and college committees.  He recently graduated form CLI (Commerce Leadership Institute) and is a proud member of the local community.

Dr. Nippani teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in the areas of financial markets, international finance and financial management.  He is married to Padma and they have two sons.
