Major General Chris Adams Endowed Scholarship Fund

Major General, Chris AdamsFollowing graduation from A&M-Commerce in 1952 with a BS degree in Accounting, Chris served thirty-one years in the U.S. Air Force. He completed his military career in the grade of Major General and Chief of Staff, Strategic Air Command. He was appointed Associate Director, Los Alamos National Laboratory in 1983 and moved on to industry in 1986 becoming Vice President, Business Development, for Andrew Corporation, a developer and manufacturer of surveillance technology and equipment for use by the U.S. Government and its Allies. He was named a Distinguished Alumnus in 1991 and has served as Chairman, A&M University-Commerce Foundation Board since 1999.
