Message From The Dean

dean

Welcome to the College of Arts and Sciences at Texas A&M-Commerce. Our campus has served students throughout the region, state, and world for 116 years, one of the oldest institutions of higher education in the state of Texas. Through our majors in the arts, humanities, social sciences, and sciences in over thirty undergraduate and twelve graduate programs with a student-teacher ratio of 16 to 1, we are able to offer small classes and individual attention from our faculty and staff.

Our faculty members are exceptional and work on an international stage bringing a wealth of experience and connections in their respective fields into the classroom, laboratory, and studio. They are committed teachers, understanding that students learn in different ways and working to ensure the success of each student. Whether you are an undergraduate or a graduate student seeking additional training for a changing workforce, we look forward to working with you in meeting your educational and career goals.

Enjoy looking at the College and its many academic programs as well as the cultural programs offered by the art, music, and theatre programs.  Please stop by if you are on campus in the AG/IT building, Room 116 or get more information on how to contact us.
