Common Questions

May I choose where my donation goes?
Absolutely. Ways to Give

May I spread my donation out over time?
Gifts may be made annually, each month, or over a three-year time period with a Letter of Intent.

My gift of $10, $50 or $100 would be a drop in the bucket. Will it really make a difference?
Every gift—regardless of the amount makes a difference. Your gift can accomplish much more than you think it can. A&M-Commerce has nearly 60,000 living alumni. If all alumni gave $50 per year, that $3 million would create life-changing opportunities for students!

How much does it cost to attend Texas A&M University-Commerce?
Since it was established in 1889, A&M-Commerce has prided itself on being accessible and affordable to those seeking a first-rate education. For Texas residents, tuition and fees for one semester are $1,812. Tuition and fees plus room, board, and books add up to approximately $4,947 per semester. See http://www.tamu-commerce.edu/university/tuition.asp for more information.

I don’t want anybody to know that I have made a contribution. Is it possible to remain anonymous?
Yes, we are ethically bound to respect your wishes and will not make your contribution publicly known.

Who invests my endowed funds?
All endowed funds are deposited through the Texas A&M University-Commerce Foundation but are managed by The Texas A&M University System in College Station .

What is the relationship between the university and the A&M-Commerce Foundation?
The Foundation has a Board of Directors who work in partnership with A&M-Commerce to serve the university’s mission by raising private funds.

My gift may encourage others to give. What kind of recognition is there?
There are several giving levels and methods of showing appreciation to our donors.

Who should I call if I have more questions?
Please contact the Office for Advancement at 903-468-8180.
